Want to march in Oak Lawn's Independence Day Parade? Applications will be accepted through June 14. Reply OAK LAWN, IL – The Village of Oak Lawn will kick off Independence Day 2023 with a parade at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 1. A concert will immediately follow the parade on the village green with a concert by Anthem, which plays classic rock and beyond. Local organizations and businesses are invited to bring a float, march, play music, carry balloons or banners, drive vintage cars, or dress up to commemorate our nation's birthday.
